I am currently a Medical Account Manager at HealthTap, a Silicon Valley-based digital health startup and the world’s first Global Health Practice, focused on delivering immediate world-class healthcare 24/7 from query-to-cure. At HealthTap, my role lies at the intersection of product development and implementation, and involves working closely with healthcare practitioners to help improve the way they deliver care to their patients. Previously, I was the Community Manager for Health Technology Forum (HTF), an organization working towards making healthcare better, more accessible, and affordable for everyone by promoting the development and adoption of innovative technologies that transform health through incubation, mentoring, code-a-thons, and monthly local events. While in University, I was actively involved with the Society of Women Engineers, and served as the Outreach Officer for two years in a row. Additionally, I helped co-organize the first-ever TEDx event at UCR, an independently hosted event created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading.” I worked briefly at Biocon in 2014, India’s largest biotechnology company, and an emerging global biopharmaceutical enterprise focused on delivering affordable healthcare solutions to patients, partners, and healthcare systems across the globe. In addition to my role at HealthTap, I currently serve as the Curator of the Palo Alto Global Shapers Hub, an initiative born out of the World Economic Forum that brings together inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional and global challenges. Furthermore, I am the Vice President (USA) of the Young Changemakers Conclave, a platform that comprises of students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators and changemakers working towards enhancing the quality of life for India’s next billion people. A bioengineer by background, I have a deep interest in public health, education, technology, social entrepreneurship, and politics.
