Hello, everyone! My name is Katerina. I am a musician - I play the piano and I am a sound engineer at Cape Cod Media Center. Just recently I got my third degree in music production and since then have been working with other musicians on the professional level. I moved to the USA eight years ago and a couple month ago became a citizen, which opened up to me more opportunities to travel to different countries. I should say, I love to travel and so far have visited many countries, including Italy, Austria, Ukraine, Belarus, Puerto Rico, most of the states in the USA. I am a very friendly and easy going person. Love to meet new people and make friends from all over the world; well, I hope Couchsurfing will help me with that :)

I think it is a great way to meet different people, share interests and get more life experience. Also, meeting and staying with the locals can always help to get to know better the place I am visiting.
Musica, film e libri
I open to any music genera: from classical ( Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Debussy) to Chuck Berry, Jimmy Hendrix, Pink Floyd !!! Covenant of Thorns, EDM: techno, DnB... I like to watch movies which brings up something good in people's soul, motivational movies and movies that encourage people to be good and to do good. I like most movies with Will Smith ( Seven Pounds, In Pursued of Happiness), Fountain with Hugh Jackman. Just recently I had a great impression from the movie Loving Vincent. The whole movie was painted by almost 100 painters in memory of great painter Vincent van Gogh. Mostly, I like to read classical Russian literature ( Pushkin, Lermontov.) But right now I am concentrated on Music Technology books.

I can teach: the Russian language; play the piano; cook Russian food for instance soup borsh and pel'meshki:) I can share: my knowledge of history ( I love to read historical books) my experience from other countries I have visited and lived in. I can learn mostly everything that I get interested about.
