Live alone, travel alone, not well socialized, but a smart and kind guy anyway :) I have been living in St. Petersburg all my life, so used to rains, grey sky and depression... kidding :) I like to smile and laugh, good smart sense of humor from soft irony (including self-irony) to black humor and sarcasm. It helps in life. Despite this I feel that I take life more seriously than most serious people do. PHILOSOPHY Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. I also like this one: "Handle so, dass du die Menschheit sowohl in deiner Person, als in der Person eines jeden anderen jederzeit zugleich als Zweck, niemals bloß als Mittel brauchst". Too pity I don't speak German as good as Kant did.

Una cosa straordinaria che ho fatto
Moved to another country for a person I loved. It failed. I would do so again. Changed my first profession to a completely different one. I'm looking forward to new amazing things!

I learn and study all my life. For many years I felt the need to get more information, more knowledge, more experience, to understand things better. Now it flows slower, I tend more to contemplate life and look for more impressions. I can't really cook, but I'd like to learn :)

In different periods I had different interests. Now about some of them I can tell a lot, about others - not so much. Anyway I'm always eager to hear from you if you have a passion. Some examples: electronics, Linux (Ubuntu), Python programming, chess, comparative linguistics and proto-indo-european studies, artificial languages, linguistic purism, nutrition, evolution, applied math. As a doctor (currently working in internal diseases) I obviously have a great interest in medicine, especially preventive medicine, and those parts of natural sciences which help to understand it better.
