As probably everyone on this platform, I love traveling and meeting new people, exchanging stories, experiences and so on. Especially in times of global crises and polarization, I believe listening to different people from different backgrounds is expanding the own horizon incredible much and can be a tiny step towards more kindness on this planet. And even on a local scale it’s simply fun and enriching to talk to new people and hear some new life stories. And of course there’s no better way to experience a country and it’s culture by staying with a local while simultaneously saving money! Unfortunately, I never really got to use Couchsurfing as much as I had planned to. Let’s hope that will change in the future:)
