We're a couple living in Reston, VA with a passion for travel and desire to learn about other cultures. We have a dog and a cat that share our home. We're about 20 miles outside of Washington DC and near a metro if you're planning to go into the city. 10 minutes from Dulles Airport. A little bit ago we decided it was time to step out of the rat race and do something for ourselves. That conversation turned into a 20 country trip around the world that we start in May. During this trip we are looking to learn more about ourselves, the word, and cultures we've never been part of. All 20 of the countries we've picked will be a first time for Aaron and 19 will be a first time for Marianna. We are not currently "accepting guest" since we are traveling the world but are very excited to host more when we settle on a place to live after our trip. We've couchsurfed in 8 cities so far (Paris, Brussels, Bruges, Ghent, Luxembourg City, Prague, Zagreb and Rome) and have really enjoyed all of our hosts.
