IMPORTANT: right now I’m in a long time solo trip around Central Asia, so I’m not able to host in Rome. If you need something else you can text me. I was born and raised in South American country Colombia. Since I was very young, I’ve been curious about other cultures, languages, food and landscapes. Traveling is one of the things I enjoy most in life. I love learning from the road, meeting very different kinds of people, and seeing how nature and daily life change from place to place. I believe Couchsurfing is a great way to make travel more meaningful: not just seeing places, but sharing stories, ideas and cultures. I hope to meet open‑minded people, learn from them, and keep growing as a person through this cultural exchange.

Perché sono su Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is not just a free place to sleep for me. I use it as a way to really connect with local people, learn how life feels in each place, and see the country beyond the typical tourist route. I’m a documentary photographer and videographer, so I’m always curious about people’s stories, daily routines and personal perspectives. Staying with hosts allows me to listen, share my own experiences from Colombia and the road, and sometimes create small photo or video memories together. I also like the idea of giving and receiving hospitality. I’ve hosted travelers myself and I know how special it is when someone respects your home, your time and your rules. On Couchsurfing I hope to meet open‑minded people, share simple moments (a walk, a tea, a conversation) and leave with the feeling that we both learned something from each other.
Musica, film e libri
Music is a big part of my life. I play drums and percussion and I really love the cajón, especially with Spanish and Latin rhythms. I listen to many different styles, but I always enjoy discovering local music in every country I visit and I’m happy to exchange playlists or jam a bit if there is an instrument around. I don’t have a lot of time to watch movies, but when I do I like something in the vibe of Nolan or Tarantino. I enjoy talking about cinema not in a super academic way, but as a way to share ideas, stories and how movies make us feel. Books are important to me. Novecento by Baricco and Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance are kind of “bible” books in my life and I like reading travel, philosophy and stories that explore human nature. I don’t always have space for many books in my backpack, so exchanging books or recommendations with hosts and other travellers is one of my favourite things.
Una cosa straordinaria che ho fatto
I left my routine life behind to travel long‑term overland, hitchhiking and camping my way across different countries. I’ve crossed borders slowly, slept under the stars in the middle of nowhere, and trusted strangers who later became friends. This journey has changed how I see the world, and myself.
Cosa posso offrire agli host
• Stories and perspectives from Colombia and South America, Italy and Europe • Simple Colombian/Italian dishes (or I can just help with cooking and cleaning in the kitchen). • Language exchange in Spanish, Italian, English. • Travel stories, photography and ideas about slow, low‑budget travel. • Respect, good vibes, and help with small things at home if you need an extra hand. I don’t need much comfort, and I always try to leave a place a little better than I found it.
