I'm a teacher in Cincinnati, OH, United States. I participated in both hosting and staying with couchsurfers in the past with my ex-partner, but I've made this profile now that we're not together. I'm very active and always on the move. Some things I spend a lot of time doing are going to the rock climbing gym, bicycling, running, hiking, contra dancing, playing guitar, and reading.

I just started playing guitar and I'm really excited to keep learning. I've done lots of long distance hiking, so if you want to know how to pack for a week, a month or a few months in the mountains, I can tell you all about it. Places I've hiked include: the Rocky Mountains, Nepal, Africa, New Zealand, the Alps, etc. I also just started a Java Script class that I am looking forward to continuing over the summer.
