I would much rather visit places and connect with the locals versus travel and spend allot of money and visit as a tourist. I want a more authentic experience when it comes to travel rather than hit the already beaten path, I'd like to travel a path less taken. I've had some of the best traveling experiences when i'm with couchsurfers!

I traveled through Germany by myself, met some wonderful people and had the time of my life getting to know people and experiencing the German culture as well as doing a day trip with some fellow couch surfers!
