Once I was on hiking with the scouts and we decided to stay the night on a castle ruin. We sat up our camp and exactly at the moment when we went to bed a big storm came up. We quickly took our tents and went down the hill. We searched for a simple house marked on our map as an emergency case camping place. As we arrived we only found a bench, which was pretty funny but not good for us. We sat up an improved tent. After a few minutes we noticed that we had a few holes in our tent, so it took another hour to fix the problem. At the end we got into bed at 4 o clock, tired, but happy and enriched with another important experience. Shit happens, but problems being solved in a most improvised way are the experiences we do remember the most.

In my free time I do a lot of (outdoor) sports like taekwondo, hiking, camping, sailing, climbing and Mountain biking. I am always happy if someone shows me his or her hobby and takes me on a trip into another world.
