It's a special community! A friend once said to me, "if you're meant to be somewhere, your friends will already be there". I love this concept, and Couchsurfing has helped to show me that I have friends all over the world, it's just a matter of putting ourselves out there to connect with one another. I've met the loveliest people and had some of my most memorable experiences through this community.

I love the energy that flows when talking with others about anything-- from comparative politics to animals to environmental science to how to prepare the best coconut rice. Through couchsurfing, I’ve most enjoyed practicing languages, so please teach me a phrase or two!
