Just moved back to Phoenix after 10 years in Los Angeles! Earlier this year I spent four months traveling Southeast Asia and India. Couchsurfing was one of the best ways of meeting new people along the way. It's easy to get caught up in the repetition and grind of everyday life, and forget that all over the world, people live extraordinarily differently from you. I believe travel and connecting with interesting people willing to share their experiences is the best way to gain perspective on what it means to be human in this world.
