Hey there! I'm Tarran from Canberra, Australia. I have couchsurfed and hitchhiked around a few different countries now and the communities I've come across have really inspired me to keep looking for spontaneous chances to meet new interesting people, wherever I may be. So far I have visited 23 countries and hope to add more to that tally, but no need to rush through of course. I love to travel and meet people from other walks of life whenever I can, I find it the most interesting and memorable way to experience a country and its culture. I am a big believer in the core of couchsurfing, genuine cultural exchange! Exploration, spontaneity, good chats and adventurous outdoor activities are always a goal on a trip. Maybe you'll find me surfing, freediving, sailing, hiking or looking for a local sport team to join. I'm also a bit of a nerd, I have an irrational love for Nintendo from my childhood. I'm into music, having played in an orchestra for many years as a double bassist, and giving fingerstyle guitar a go here and there. I have started my year long trip through Asia, Sweden and Norway starting 18th November and would love to find some interesting hosts along the way!
