Because I really believe that helping others and being helped is such a fantastic thing. Plus you get to meet awesome new people and immerse yourself in the local culture! I participate in CS by hanging out, guiding and travelling myself. I'm very pleased when I can take a CS friend for a walk to show London hidden gems... Another thing that makes me happy is attending CS events to meet new people.
