Hi! I'm Tomo 👋 I'm probably one of the two or three active surfers in Okayama, so if you need a host or just want to hang out, feel free to message me. I'm always happy to answer questions, exchange stories, or discuss something completely unnecessary for three hours. Also, Japanese sweets are amazing so lets try it out🍡 --- 👇️Okay, so short introduction of myself I was born in the countryside but moved to Tokyo because of university. After graduation, I worked at a recruitment company for 6 months, quit, then flew to travel around Africa and the Middle East. I had a GREAT GREAT GREAT time there, and now my goal is to continue traveling when I'm still young. Now I co-founded a company with my friend and moved to Okayama. Hopefully this brings me enough money to go abroad🤑 --- 👇️What I like - Books - Movies - Plays/Theaters - Basketball - Art in general - Photography - Walking around cities or random neighborhoods - Talking to people - Thinking about stuff - Being sarcastic - Queen (music band) I probably have other things I like. I don't know. It's kind of hard to know exactly what you like. When there isn't much you hate, there also isn't much you strongly love. Because liking something is relative and you only notice how much something matters to you when it's compared to everything else. Ahh, here I go again. This pretty much sums up what kind of person I am lol. --- 👇Traveling I usually travel slowly and stay in one country for a while rather than rushing through many places. What I enjoy most is getting closer to everyday local life. Small restaurants, random neighborhoods, quiet streets, long walks, conversations with people I randomly met... Those tend to stay in my memory longer. I also really enjoy conversations while traveling. Fun stupid conversations, deep conversations, discussions about life, politics, science, culture, pretty much anything. Oh, but I also go to super touristy spots too. Touristy spots are touristy for a reason. Gotta check them out ✅ --- 👇Hosting I enjoy hosting for pretty much the same reasons. Meeting people with completely different perspectives and sharing everyday life together. I'm usually happy to go get food together, cook something at home, walk around the city, have long conversations, or just relax and do our own things. I'm pretty flexible. Also, I like both light conversations and deeper discussions, so we can talk about random nonsense or something serious at 2am lol (I've had some real crazy guests haha). My room is small but relatively clean. Average Japanese room I would say. Do not expect an American size super large house haha. --- Yup, that's basically it. Looking forward to seeing you!! 😁 Feel free to follow/text me✌️ Instagram: tomo_chi.52 WhatsApp: +81 7085140502 Oh, and friendly reminder. Please don't hit me, stab me, and throw me off the balcony😊

Perché sono su Couchsurfing
To meet new people and have fun! For me, the best part of traveling is to meet locals and spend time together. I love hearing wonderful stories. I also like sharing stories. And I am sarcastic. (I do not view myself as sarcastic, but my friends tell me otherwise so I guess I am. I'm also Japanese so I must be polite. That means I'm polite-sarcastic. I just invented a new word. Congrats to me!)
Musica, film e libri
MUSIC Queen is my favorite. MOVIE Comedy, Romance and Mystery is what I prefer. Do not like horror movies. Too scary. Cannot go to sleep at night. So if you want to see me scream till sunrise, let's watch it together. BOOKS There are many many many spectacular Japanese authors. Can't wait to tell you!
Una cosa straordinaria che ho fatto
One day, I accidentally pushed my sister into the river. She started crying. At the riverbed, a bunch of salmon were chilling out. They got startled and swam away. I felt sorry and apologized to the salmon.
Insegna, Impara, Condividi
These are the things I can teach/share. -Anything about Japan -Simple Origami -Simple needlework (Uzbekistan style) -How to make a layup -How to push your sister into the river I can also share my opinion, or the general Japanese opinion about politics, religion, culture, history, etc. I've been questioned many times by guests, so I figured most of you guys are interested as well. Feel free to ask me anything. (Except my criminal record)
Cosa posso offrire agli host
Joy, food, culture, stories and a sense of humor. *I'm quieter than you think. Just because I have a funny profile doesn't mean I'm some carefree, optimistic party guy who never questions himself 😎
