The point of travel is to meet new people and experience new things, hotels and sometimes even hostels take that away.

In late December I got in my car (Winnipeg) and drove east, 36hours/2200km later I was in Montreal. I met with an old friend and met new ones and finally saw Niagara Falls. The road trip was over 6000km in all and lasted two weeks. Was totally spontaneous, cut my bank account into pieces and was completely worth it.
