Vlad (Vladislav) Ketkovich * 1971. Trained as a teacher but moved on to write and make films. More fun, less restrictive –and who needs a regular income anyway? Started out with visual anthropology projects all around the former Soviet Union whilst writing for GEO, Nat.Geographic & other mags. Established production company Ethnofund in 2000. Member of EDN, Int.Federation of Journalists, Russian Documentary Guild, Russian Geographical Society and the Eurasian Academy of TV& Radio. Has been learning the Western storytelling ways as a participant of HotDocs Forum, IDFA, Eurodoc, Ex-Oriente, and EDN’s professional events.
