Of course my city is famously known as the home town of the music band ๐ถ The Beatles and for its โฝ๏ธ Football Club in ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Anfield, Merseyside. I would describe myself as emotionally intelligent, outgoing and find it easy to get along with others. I am very respectful and polite, the way I was raised. I will never judge or disrespect others. Sometimes people find my behaviour annoying because I may say things like โSorryโ too much, but Iโd rather be polite than disrespectful. I also have a calm, caring and loving nature. โค๏ธ Basically, Iโm a big softie at heart. ๐งธ I can also be quite romantic, but of course thatโs not really relevant to couch-surfing. Just a random fact about me. ๐ซ Another thing about me, is that I donโt judge others based on their race, religion, sexuality or gender. I believe we are all equal human beings and should be treated as such. ๐ So, if youโre racist, xenophobic, homophobic, biphobic or transphobic, the likely hood of us getting along is rather slim. โน๏ธ Im a Vegan ๐ฑ of 11 years, and prior to that I was a Vegetarian ๐ฑ for 12 years. I love and care about the welfare of animals ๐. I also care about the planet. ๐ However that being said, I am not a ๐ชMilitant Vegan ๐ฑ and I would never judge what others choose to eat or wear. I believe in the freedom of choice. ๐ช๐ป I am ๐ณ๏ธโ๐ LGBTQ2+ friendly. I myself identify as ๐๐๐ Pansexual and ๐๐๐งกโค๏ธ Panromantic (Which means: I am attracted to people sexually and romantically regardless of their sex/gender). You could sort of argue itโs more about the heart and the connection, than whoโs got what body parts. Even though I identify as Pan, Iโve only had experiences so far with Men. I support trans people and have many friends who are trans. ๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ ๐ Iโve no problem with Nudism, so donโt be afraid to host me if youโre a Nudist. I am comfortable being clothed or naked. But I do confess that it is relaxing and I feel free to be without clothes. ๐ I sometimes enjoy sleeping naked at home too. โ๏ธ Youโd probably be shocked if you knew what the Victory sign (putting two fingers forward at someone) means in my country. ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ Oops! I see so many people using it and even at me (but I will ask you kindly to not do that). Whilst I openly admit that of course ๐ฉCouchSurfing is a convenient way to save a little on expenses (enabling more opportunities to visit more or the world), I also love the idea of the community as a whole. The world needs more kindness in it and thatโs exactly the heart and soul of what CouchSurfing provides. Sharing together and learning from each other. Whether itโs experiences, cultures, support, guidance, education, hospitality or just hanging out. Itโs a fantastic way of living and a new way to open opportunities to everyone. I would love the experience to meet new people who I can share new experiences with. ๐ Iโm easy going, friendly and compassionate by nature. I am not only an empath, but also very compassionate, so I am more than happy to support and listen to you if you are facing any problems and just need to lend an ear ๐๐ป. Travelling alone (as I will be) is also lonely ๐, so I could really do with good company to put it bluntly ๐. Hopefully I can make some friendships and unforgettable memories during my experience on Couchsurfing. ๐ฉ Couchsurfing hangouts in ๐ฆ๐น Vienna showed me just how hostile and rude some people in the world can be. Many rejected my requests to join their hangout, despite the fact I was close by and they were not hanging out with anyone. Nor did anyone join my hangout, except one person who then ignored all my messages. So of course, not everyone is friendly on couchsurfing. However I still have faith that the gift of being kind is mostly alive on here. If Iโve learnt anything about people, itโs not to rely on them for your own happiness. It sucks when people mess you around, use you or promise to hang out with you but make other plans and/or donโt include you. Soโฆ Iโve learnt that itโs important to stand on my own two feet and learnt to enjoy my own company too. Even if itโs just walking around alone and taking in the scenery. But of course, I am always happy to meet new faces and exchange stories and experiences with them. I know thereโs nice people out there who want to socialise, so they are always welcome to say hello. I could do with the extra company if Iโm honest. โ๏ธ Important to remember: Couch-surfing is not a hook up site/app such as Tinder/Grindr โ๏ธand I have no intention to use it as one. I hope that my hosts understand that and have the same thought process. While I canโt deny that some people have natural attraction and chemistry (which I have no problem with), hosting someone with that intent from the get go isnโt really acceptable or the concept of what couch-surfing is about. Unfortunately I found myself with a bad host and it was very rapey and uncomfortable. ๐ For me consent is very important and so to have that expectation in place isnโt something Iโm comfortable with. Everything should be natural. So please donโt pressure me into sex just because you may host me. Itโs not fair that to put anyone in that situation. ๐๐ป ๐ Regarding Hosting: ๐ Unfortunately, I canโt accommodate at the moment. Otherwise, I would love to offer you a place to stay. I live with family currently and we donโt really have the room to spare, plus with my nephew coming over to stay occasionally itโs not ideal. So, Iโm really sorry about that. ๐๐ป Donโt let it stop you from asking me to hang out though. Iโd be more than happy to show you around my city, Liverpool ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ. ๐ฅ My favourite movie of all time is The Craft (1996), featuring Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell, Rachel True and Fairuza Balk. ๐งโโ๏ธ If you havenโt seen it, you should definitely check it out. Thatโs if youโre into the whole supernatural/ witchcraft type films. What I love about the movie is that each character goes through their own experiences and emotions and the movie is not afraid to be bold at times. The story follows Sarah, an outcast at a new school who finds a new group of friends, who she makes a covern with. Everything is going great until they turn against her because she disagrees with their behaviour. ๐ I have the special edition on DVD. I also have a signed poster which includes all the main cast, except Robin Tunney. My second favourite film is Carrie (1976) featuring Sissy Spacek, John Travolta and Amy Irving. ๐ฉธ I mean, what can I say? Itโs a classic, historic and Iโm sure very well known. Carrie is an outcast, a victim, a loner and appears very vulnerable. You really feel bad for her as she is tormented by her crazed Christian mother and nasty teenage classmates on a daily basis. Carrie learns that she has telekinetic powers and begins practicing with them, but eventually loses self control and burns down her school, forcing everyone to pay for their actions, followed by killing both herself and her mother at her home. Sue Snell survives, but is later riddled with the guilt that she bullied her. ๐ I have all 4 Carrie Movies: Carrie (1967), The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999), Carrie (2002) and Carrie (2013) on DVD. ๐ฆ Batman movies are also some of my favourite movies to watch. I am a huge DC fan and have huge collection of movies from 1966-Present, including Cartoon movies. What I really liked about the current Batman movie is that it was filmed in my city (Liverpool) and that it focused more on the detective side of things, rather than just the action. Whilst I am aware that Batman films are action packed. Itโs also good to see movies that relate more to the main comic stories and so I thought this one really did that well. Aside from that, I really loved The Dark Knight (2008). I think itโs by far my favourite Batman movies and I have to say it included a phenomenal performance from Heath Ledger (Joker). ๐ ๐ป I also love Mean Girls (2003) featuring Lindsay Lohan, Tina Fey, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert. Again, itโs such a classic. What I love about Mean Girls, is whilst the comedy is on point, it really is a realistic look on school life and how certain cliques and groups form. The story follows an outcast South African girl named Cady Heron, who goes from being โhome schooled jungle freakโ (quote from the movie) to starting life in a New School (North Shore High) in Illinois, America and becoming extremely popular. She finds herself with two groups of friends who are Arch enemies both leaders playing antagonist characters - Regina George and Janis Ian. Eventually Cady finds herself as the new leader (Queen bee) of her new friends and realises sheโs not the perfect girl she always thought she was. The film is full of memorable quotes and life lessons. The Walking Dead, Lost, Star Trek: Voyager, The 100, Gotham, School Spirits, Supergirl and The Flash are amongst my favourites), socialising ๐ฃ and learning new skills ๐ง . โช๏ธ I did start writing my own ๐ Novel and was on 8 chapters, but unfortunately my laptop was stolen from me. ๐ Someone stole my suitcase from a train. ๐ซ So, I lost everything and now I have writers block after rewriting 3 chapters. So, Iโm not sure I will continue. ๐ โช๏ธIn 2023, I started writing more song lyrics. I have already written enough lyrics for 2 EPโs (which Iโve titled: Broken Hearted and Burnout) and 10 albums (which would be titled: Make Your Way, Scripted, Now I See You For Who You Are, Shattered Dreams, Replay, Deep Thoughts, Worthy, Burnout, Look Me In The Eyes and Revitalise.). Iโm yet to actually do anything with my lyrics, but they are personal to me and Iโm proud of them.
