Finished my PhD at the University of Cambridge, studying supply chains and maths and cognition. Now running my own business incubator. Love meeting new people, learning from them, making connections, and talking nerdy.

CURRENT MISSION I don't currently love in the UK, I am travelling while I work out where I'd like to be in the world. In need of an update having been off CS for nearly a decade. To find a place to live, i'd like to see the world before i make a decision, so around the world i work my way. ABOUT ME People wonder why I am for happy, having lost so much, but how can you not be happy when living in such a wonderful life. I know that I am lucky to have been born into such a great life and I make sure to enjoy it as best I can, while I try to share and help out as much as I can. I am still learning and will never stop. Conceived in Nepal, born in Germany, i've travelled my whole life. (there has been some confusion lately, i'm not german, but i'm trying to learn german, can you help me?) that isn't to say i'm not English, I love England, though I can't see it at the place to live my life, I love the mountains, sun, snow and ocean too much to stay in the UK. I left england at the end of 2007 ans lived in Switzerland for a winter working as an office manager, and moved to live by the sea in spain, with some work in Denmark picking strawberries. I then returned to Switzerland to be a chef, followed by 6 months travelling and road-tripping all around Europe from Ireland as far as Turkey. With my brother we spent some time touring North America, and settling in Banff for 7 months, where I taught Skiing and snowboarding, and some time cheffing. Onwards I spent the summer in the orchards of the Oakanagon picking fruit and enjoying the beaches around Kelowna. I spent a little more time in the US and got to Mexico, only to break my jaw, and get flown back to England by my insurance company. So this is where I find myself, living with my father, working for my father, in the countryside. I tend to exercise a lot, cycling in to Cambridge, just to shake the cabin fever of country life. I have strong ties to Verbier in Switzerland, and it seems to be another home, so i visit a bit. I have yet to find out where in the world that is home, except maybe for the whole of Europe. I'm just me drifting on the seas of life, enjoying the outdoors and partying crazy. love life, love the world! oh and i'm just trying to get into kite surfing, so if you know anybody who does this, then let me know, thanks! Bonjour! Originally from Montreal, Canada, I recently moved to Cambridge with my partner. We are starting to feel like locals here, so thought it would be good to open our home to Couchsurfers like we used to do in Montreal! Open minded, nature lovers, hikers and readers! We bike everywhere around town, all year round (and so should you when you visit!). I had my party years, but now have a more calm lifestyle. Love having nice conversations around a drink. Liberal, spiritual, into Yoga and Meditation. We are both vegan, love to cook and have a pretty well furnished kitchen you can use. We ask that you please refrain from bringing any animal flesh in while cooking. As hosts, we can offer you a comfortable mattress in a private room of our apartment. If we are free, we can also show you around the city. If not, we'd be glad to give you some tips.
