I consider myself a straightforward, confident, brave, calm, accommodating, open minded and decisive person but also very patient. I've been living by myself for more than 8 years and support my family since I graduated. I'm a stoic person, always focus on what I can control instead of thinking about the external factors. I have a clear mind xD I stopped using Instagram and Facebook (you might find my account somewhere xD, maybe AI 🤪). Couchsurfing and LinkedIn are now my social medias xD. I'm a simple, positive soul who believes in finding joy in the little things and always prioritizing passion over routine. I'm an IC design engineer by profession but I also have a big passion for cybersecurity and AI recently and I studied them seriously xD, maybe one day will become a nation state actor ... or not Hehe. I love to try out new tech xD I'd like to experience different things and learn new things from any sources and I'm not a perfectionist. I would be grateful if you teach me something I don't know. I’m always open to a fresh perspective or constructive advice. If I have a long weekend or many days off with free time I normally go backpacking to some nearby areas. I’m both well-planned and spontaneous depends on the situations, pretty flexible for anything. I like to be in nature for refreshing. I know a few camping sites around here. My home is located on the mainland, very close to the Penang Second Bridge, which makes it easy to travel to the island using Grab or public transport. It’s a convenient spot for exploring both sides of Penang. As much as I love spending time with my guests, I do have a busy weekday work schedule. I usually leave for the office around 6 AM and return around 6 PM—sometimes later, depending on the day. That said, I always make it a point to have dinner with my guest whenever possible. That shared time is precious to me—it’s when we get to connect, reflect, and exchange stories. If you’re staying on a weekday, you’re welcome to follow me to the island in the morning. I can drop you off at the bus station, where you can catch a bus to Georgetown or other parts of Penang. On weekends, I’m more flexible and can spend more quality time with you. If schedules align, I’d be happy to take you around the island and show you places that are close to my heart. Now about me....I’m just an ordinary guy with a slightly different way of seeing life and the soul. I believe that every moment in our lives is deeply interconnected—that nothing happens by chance. Whether it’s a long friendship or a brief encounter through Couchsurfing, I cherish every soul connection I make along the way. And I'm a vegetarian since Jan 2020, after my return from India when I suddenly lost the urge to eat meat. To me, the universe has its own quiet language, and I’ve come to trust its rhythm. I see blessings in every twist and turn, even when they’re hidden at first. Life is a journey not just of places, but of people and presence—and I’m grateful for every step and every soul I meet.

In Malaysia I live with my mother and we love to host travellers, it makes me feel like I am on vacation myself and also I do hangout with travelers back home. I love to meet up t’s nice to talk over a cup of coffee or tea. Sometimes my host or my guests forgot to write a reference I understanding their busy schedule but I will be glad if we leave some references as a memories from each other, when I stop travel I will read again all the reference and make me remember how lucky myself to meet all this amazing people. In my travels, I am very considerate of my host’s schedule and if my host has time, it’s nice to get to know each other and share travel stories. Otherwise I am quite independent and can explore the city by myself. I like to be tidy and help my host with some simple chores as well, if I am able to help. After a few years of travelling I have developed friendships and it’s really nice to visit people or have guests that are now my friends. And I really glad to count them in my life.
