********************Please read "My Home" section carefully before sending me a request!******************** Also please notice the following: - My home is NOT a free hotel. If you stay with us, you have to respect us and our house rules. If you’re looking just for a free accommodation - don’t bother yourself to send me a request as I’ll definitely not accept it. - When sending me a stay request, please answer the following questions: What do we have in common? And why would you like specifically ME to host you? Now shortly about me: I am 33 years old, originally from Russia, I grew up in Vologda (located about 450 km far from Moscow, North-West). I used to live in Moscow for 6 years and have graduated from the Faculty of Physics at Lomonosov Moscow State University. After my graduation I moved to Johannesburg, South Africa where I worked as a physicist at University of Johannesburg (did my research in the area of magnetism and magnetic materials). Moving to South Africa was the most adventurous decision I have ever made that affected my life a lot. I learn foreign languages, especially German. Currently I’m also trying to learn Egyptian Arabic and trust me - that’s not easy at all! Haha 😅 I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world, spending time with them and listening to their inspiring stories. Travels are the best moments in my life, because travels always give me new impressions, new experiences, knowledges and friends. All this is very important to me. In October 2022 I spontaneously decided to travel to Egypt for one month. There I met my future husband Bassem and finally in January 2023 I moved to Cairo! Me and Bassem got married in September 2024 after a lot of troubles and paperwork of course 😂 But so far it’s been almost 4 years since I moved to Egypt and I’m pretty much happy to be here! 🥰
Current mission: Explorin Central Asia Aug: Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 Sept: Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 I’m currently homeless. I’m passionate about life, traveling, hiking, and exploring different cultures and languages. I love learning how people live, interact with each other, and connect with nature. I’m a long-distance runner, so you’ll often find me training somewhere. I’m also a street photographer, documenting simple, spontaneous, yet meaningful moments and scenes from daily life—you might even catch me taking a portrait of you sometime. As an environmentalist and vegetarian, I strive to minimize my impact on the planet. I’m always looking for ways to live more sustainably, whether through mindful travel, reducing waste, or supporting local, eco-friendly practices. I enjoy meeting fellow travelers to share stories, discuss cultures, languages, and of course, vegan food. Whether it’s a quick coffee, a spontaneous adventure, or exchanging travel tips, I’m always open to meaningful connections.
