I like hosting people, sharing with them little everyday things like cooking, talking and walking in the woods. I am fond of speaking languages, eating garlic, doing outdoor sports and travelling. When I arrive in a new city I like wandering aimlessly and taking a random bus to the last station and the same bus back. I like new smells, hot climates and fried vegetables.

CURRENT MISSION Enjoying life and building up a new garden ! ABOUT ME My father was an architect. I'm an IT engineer. So I suppose that's why I'm a mixture of creative and organized person. I'm living in a house near Grenoble on the first slope of Vercors mountain. I enjoy to meet people and travel. I like to have friends at home to cook good food and open good bottles ! I have founded several non profit organizations from university students short films makers club to a DIY/gardener student placement system for elderly people. PHILOSOPHY Seize the day, be tolerant and openminded ... as much as you can ...

I'm Misaki, based in Grenoble. I came here from August 2025 to study abroad to obtain a masters degree in informatics. I studied French and French culture when I was an undergraduate student. Last year at the university, I went to France for 3 weeks. After that, I started to travel abroad and meet with my friends live in foreign countries. I love traveling and exploring new places:) I can speak - Japanese (native) - English (B2 level) - French (B2 level) Recently I obtained HSK 4 (A2 level) but I can only speak greetings or something.. I'd like to learn other foreign languages as well ! My favorite countries -France -Sri Lanka -Malaysia -Taiwan Recently Malaysia became one of my favorite countries and try to learn Bahasa Melayu. Things what I like to do - traveling - reading books - meeting new people - visiting an old temple, castle, church - hopping cafes - going to museums - visiting spa, sauna - going to see films

La vie est belle, alors autant en profiter au maximum ;) Curieux et toujours partant pour découvrir de nouveaux endroits et rencontrer de nouvelles personnes. J’aime les activités en plein air : vélo, lacs, el la plongée en apnée… avec une préférence pour les endroits où la nature fait le spectacle. ⛰️🌊 J’aime aussi les voyages, les road trips improvisés, découvrir une nouvelle ville à pied, partager un bon repas ou simplement refaire le monde autour d’un verre. Pour moi, les meilleures expériences viennent souvent des rencontres et des moments qu’on n’avait pas forcément prévus. Attention ⚠️ Couchsurfing n’est pas un hôtel gratuit. Si tu viens uniquement pour économiser une nuit et que tu n’as rien à partager — une histoire, une expérience, un repas, une balade ou simplement un peu de ton temps — passe ton chemin. Si en revanche tu es curieux, ouvert d’esprit et partant pour partager un moment, bienvenue ;)
