I LOST ALL MY 900+ FRIENDS HERE AND IโM TRYING TO ADD THEM SLOWLY. All my 900+ friends were lost and I canโt upload or edit my photos on my profile. If you are my friends before, please send me your friend request again. I contacted CS and it takes them forever to fix this issues. They told me it maybe lost forever because of their system glitch at one time:-(( CURRENT MISSION: TO THE WORLD YOU MAYBE JUST ONE PERSON, TO THAT ONE PERSON YOU MAYBE THE WORLD!!! ABOUT ME: LIVE TO YOUR DREAM, NOT DREAM TO LIVE! Everyone is welcome! Always treat people the same way you like people to treat you! "To the world You maybe just one person, To that one person You maybe the world"!! I'm outgoing, friendly, open-minded easy going, funny and sometimes crazy. I have 3 cultures in me because of where I was born, grew up and raised, its like 3-in-1 special deal! Instead of surfing/hosting 3 people to learn their cultures, all you need is just me, buy 1 get 2 free, LOL! I'm a world traveler, been to 90 countries so far. I used to be very active at CS and helped and volunteered a lot of my time to manage the CS. I joined CS not to save money but to know the local culture and people and of course to see the tourist sites too. I travel a lot for my business/pleasure all over the USA and the world, usually once a month. I go to Europe, Asia & Australia/NZ few times a year.. So if you like my profile, invite me and I can be there to share my travel experience and all the tips and tricks about CS. Since I travel so much, sightseeing for me is not as important as knowing you as a person and culture. Go cruising at least once a year from Caribbean to Mexico to Mediterranean, Europe & Alaska. Have flown more than a million miles and next goal is drive & cruise a million miles! Most people travel through the country, I travel through the people! I live my life to the fullest! We have only 1 life to live, go see the world and enjoy life:-) I even been to Hell and Death Valley and came back safely! I know this world is better:-) Yes, there is a town called Hell in Cayman Island! To sum it up, I've been to Death (valley) and Fucking Hell (see my pics and you know what I mean), LOL:-) PHILOSOPHY: Learn from yesterday, Live for today and Hope for tomorrow!! Do what you want to do, Not what everyone says you should do! I have always preferred having wings than things! Make your own money, Don't let money makes you!
Your Profile is all about you; your Request should start off with what aspect of my profile caught your eye. Please check out https://support.couchsurfing.org/hc/en-us/articles/50010525448219-What-Makes-a-Great-Stay-Request If you need a place on short notice, within 1-3 days of your request, please check out https://www.couchsurfing.com/c/communities/cs-los-angeles-last-minute-emergency-couch-search And if you just need a place for 1, 2 or 3 nights, I'm probably not your guy; I prefer longer 4-7 night stays that include a full weekend so I can have the pleasure of showing my guests around, rather than just during the week when I have to work. I prefer to help travelers who are visiting L.A., rather than those trying to relocate to or establish themselves here as I can only host up to a week, and most people need more than that to succeed, so the end of the stay can be awkward if the person doesn't have someplace to go. New for 2023+: if you smoke, please state so somewhere in your profile or request. Most travelers don't fill out the "My Home" section because they aren't hosting. Please consider filtering for hosts who say smoking is allowed. Thank you. OK, now about me. I was born in the mountains of central Vietnam, and adopted as a baby by an American who worked for the U.S. gov't, so I traveled a lot as a kid: Kindergarten thru 4th grade in Germany, middle school in northern California, high school in the Philippines, and started college in Japan. In each place we traveled to the surrounding countries: Tunisia, Canada, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, etc. I have friends in Chicago and San Francisco, and my dad was from southern Indiana. I'm an only child of a single parent, 5'6", ~130 lbs (~1.5m tall,~60Kg heavy ), very dark skinned, gay, and fairly neat and tidy. For 9.5 years, I worked at a corporate foundation that is international in scope with a focus on nutrition for children, helping ~200,000 children in ~60 countries around the world, in foster care, hospitals, orphanages and schools get access to healthy meals.
Iโm Aaron. I live in Playa del Rey, Los Angeles โ my front yard is basically the beach. If you walk 15 seconds, youโre on the sand. I started hosting in 2010 in New York City, where I quickly became one of the most active Couchsurfing hosts in Manhattan. Over the years Iโve welcomed almost 500 travelers โ almost always one at a time, which meant I really got to know people. Some surfers returned to stay with me 6โ7 times. Others Iโve met again years later while traveling abroad. Hosting has been one of the biggest adventures of my life, filled with stories, friendships, and a lot of laughter. Iโm easygoing, love hearing peopleโs stories, and enjoy a mix of hanging out and giving guests space to do their own thing. What Iโm Into Music and fun: I owned a bar and live music venue in Nashville, wrote some songs, and I still love going out to see live music. If the timingโs right, I often take surfers to a show. Entrepreneurship: Iโve worked in real estate in New York, owned a bar and restaurant, and ran a travel events company. Now Iโm building a new startup (for travelers, of course signup above ) and working on my MBA. Outdoors: I love biking the coast from Venice down to Redondo, hiking the Hollywood sign, and spending time at the beach with my son. Santa Monica Pier is a favorite for people-watching. Theme parks: Iโve got a Universal Studios annual pass and sometimes go with my son. If youโre heading there and already have a ticket, Iโll join. My Home I live in a three-bedroom (guests have their own room) in Playa del Rey. Itโs a quiet little beach town with coffee shops, bars, and restaurants, but the real highlight is just walking along the ocean bike path. 9 minutes from LAX. Bus stop 30 seconds away (easy ride to Santa Monica, Culver City, Venice). From Culver City you can grab the train downtown. No smoking in the yard or the house, but the beach is right there. I used to have a dog โ if you have a quiet one, Iโm open to it. Hosting Style Think of me as your local brother, fellow traveler, and sometimes tour guide. Iโve had every kind of guest you can imagine, and Iโm still here because I love meeting new people. I introduce people to others, to friends and I will try to join other CS events with you like taco Tuesday, karaoke, any party happening or the beach bonfire we have which is just down the beach from me. I donโt party much in LA anymore and hardly drink, but if youโre looking to go out, I like to spend time with my guests when I can. In Short Iโve โseen it allโ through Couchsurfing โ hundreds of surfers, countless adventures, and lifelong friendships. Come with good vibes, enjoy the beach, and weโll get along great. My photos on here are mostly all very old 2010-2014, my ex-wife is on here as well in her own section. We used to host together, and though it looks like I party a lot, I do not anymore. I almost never drink (1 max) and have more of a busy, chill vibe right now. But if you want to let loose, awesome. It is your trip, I am just here to make it the best it can be. my ex wife old profile (SHE IS NOT active on here anymore, but some of my references are there with her, we hosted about 75 people together) https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/juliane.l/
I was born in Nicaragua, raised in Mexico, and lived in the United States. During 2020 and 2021 I traveled to 23 countries. Yes, all during COVID. It was still great to meet people from all over the world. I will continue to travel in the future. I would like to see as much of the world as I can.
