My partner, Kenny, and I live in a cute little house on a small piece of land very close to the river, the airport and Churchill (on the east end of Richmond). We are always busy with projects (carpentry, gardening) and love to explore the river and the city.

CURRENT MISSION To practice gratitude daily and to pursue experiences that give me even more reasons to be thankful. ABOUT ME I’m a naturally reserved person who truly enjoys exchanging different ways of seeing the world. I consider myself cosmopolitan at heart, and I feel most alive when conversations turn to culture, identity, and everyday life in different places. While I may seem quiet at first, I tend to open up quickly once there’s a sense of trust and comfort. I’m also a linguist, so fair warning, you might catch me asking lots of questions about your language, expressions, or how people communicate in your culture. I see language as a powerful thread that connects humanity, and I love discovering how much we reveal about ourselves through the way we speak.

Hey EVERYONE!! My name is Jake DiMeglio and I'm a free loving soul who was born and raised in the state of Virginia in the United States. I currently lie in Richmond, Virginia and work for a sustainable packaging company called TemperPack. We manufacture insulation for shipments out of corn starch. If you’ve ever done a meal kit company you may have seen our liners! I love the outdoors and spend all my free time outside. I'm addicted to traveling and after traveling the world in 2017 it is my goal to live abroad and experience as much of the world as I possibly can!! I hope we get the chance to meet!! :)
