Creo que ahí es donde realmente se encuentra la esencia de cada lugar. He tenido la suerte de recorrer 54 países por diferentes motivos, y en cada uno he aprendido algo valioso. Ahora estoy en una etapa en la que sueño con escaparme al menos un año hacia donde la vida me llame. Durante mis viajes, usé Couchsurfing menos de lo que me hubiera gustado, pero cada experiencia fue increíble y siempre le dio un toque especial a mi aventura. De formación soy ingeniero en turismo, aunque lo ejerzo de manera intermitente. Mi verdadera pasión está en la fotografía y las artes visuales, donde pongo mucho más de mi tiempo y energía. Soy bastante sociable, aunque también disfruto mucho de mis momentos a solas. Me gusta ir al gimnasio (aunque debería hacerlo más seguido), disfrutar de las puestas de sol que, desde mi casa, son espectaculares cada día, y rodearme de plantas. Las conversaciones sobre cultura, política y religión me atraen, siempre desde un lugar abierto y sin miedo. También me encanta hablar de música, bailar sin pensar mucho, tomar algo y, cuando se da, disfrutar de una buena fiesta. Vivo solo en una casa en Reñaca, una zona más playera de Viña del Mar. Es un lugar bonito, aunque no muy cultural, pero tiene su propio encanto. ¡Ah, y esas puestas de sol desde aquí nunca decepcionan! I’ve been lucky enough to visit 54 countries for various reasons, and each one has taught me something valuable. Now, I’m at a point where I dream of escaping for at least a year to wherever life calls me. During my travels, I didn’t use Couchsurfing as much as I would have liked, but every single experience I had with it was amazing and made my journey even more special. By profession, I’m a tourism engineer, but I practice it only occasionally. My true passion lies in photography and visual arts, which is where I dedicate most of my time and energy. I’m a social person, though I also value my alone time. I enjoy going to the gym (though I wish I went more often), watching sunsets—which are stunning every day from my home—and being surrounded by plants. I love talking about culture, politics, and religion openly and without fear. Music is another big passion of mine, and I enjoy dancing, having a drink, and fully embracing a good party when the moment feels right. I live alone in a house in Reñaca, a beachy area of Viña del Mar. It’s a beautiful place, though not particularly cultural, but it has its own charm. And those sunsets from here? They never disappoint!
