Bohemian Artists & Musicians traveling BC, Canada, Gulf Island & Vancouver Island

Hi! I'm going up to Pemberton May 13-15 (Friday evening to Sunday late afternoon) and have 4 spots in the minivan if anyone wants to come. I'm an English language teacher and am going to be helping another couple people with their English for a couple hours in the morning on Saturday, then we are going to hike Joffre Lakes on Saturday, then maybe head over to the hot springs Sunday morning. We will be sharing the cost of the cute little cabin we booked in Permberton, as well as the cost of gas and food. Probably around 80 for everything, but talk to me if you want to come and you need to pay a little less. Great chance to get out of the city, hike and practice your English if you need to! Assembled Ensemble!

My name is Christie Doinn Murphy and I'm planning to move to Vancouver in March 2016.

Much of a troubadour myself. I've worked on art projects in London, England and would love to find adventures and great big messes to get involved with in BC. I've also lived in artistic communities in Thessaloniki, Greece, as well as the deep Lithuanian country side.

I've worked on Biomodd.net, which is living art sculptures with computers and plants forming a ecosystem together.

Also Bacchus, which is a performance space we host up and down England. It's a cabaret vibe with all kinds. I've both performed as a storyteller/poet/songster as well as helped host and organise.

We are Sunk'n City Gypsys (Natasha & Riley). We've journeyed across Canada from Toronto looking for the right place to settle down out west on the Islands. We are interested in starting or joining some sort of art farm or creative collective, we are looking for work we can be passionate about and learn new things or work exchanges. We are interested in learning more craft including small carving and chainsaw carving, textiles or wool crafting. We'd love to help out on a farm, or camp ground. Also looking for other like minded folks to be friend, muscians to play with and or tips on places to sell crafts in the off season and play music!
