Hellou Daminen, 10 days it's pretty much for Slovenia. I suggest you to start your trip in Ljubljana and stay there2 days. The best way to get around would be to get a car and visit all this places : Logarska dolina, Bled+Bohinj, Jezersko, Kranjska Gora+Planica+ Zelenci, from Kranjska gora there is very beautiful pass over mountain (Vršič) and you can get on the other side in valley of Soča, there it's very nice to camp. If you love hiking go at least on one mountain (easy and quick: Viševnik, Stol). On seeside you must visit Koper and Piran and find some vineyard and go there tasting vines. You have plenty of time, so go also on east part: Brežice, Otočec, Novo Mesto and Maribor, Ptuj!
Hello!
I think Damir did a very nice overview so there really isn't a lot to add. I would definitely suggest you visit at least some cave in the southwest though. I would recommend Škocjanske jame, it's much more spectacular than Postojnska jama and a bit less touristy.
Some other tips about hiking, if you only want to go to the Julian Alps:
there is still snow up there, so bring all the appropriate gear and don't underestimate the mountains, especially if you're alone: check the snow conditions etc. here: http://meteo.arso.gov.si/met/en/
check the website of the Slovenian alpine association (https://en.pzs.si/ ), you will find info about the mountain huts and which of them are opened now;
if you have a car, congrats, you'll be having a relaxing time. if you rely on public transport, go for buses and try to hike around bohinj as it has the most frequent bus connections and also the most huts that are opened year-round. i would suggest making a circle around the lake: hike or take the cable car to Ski hotel Vogel, then go to Dom na Komni, Dom pri Triglavskih jezerih (a must, really beautiful), Koča na Planini pri Jezeru, Koča na Vogarju and then back to Stara Fužina (check the maps), stopping along the way wherever you like it. it can be done in two days, but i suggest you take more time and enjoy :) You will still have plenty of time for ljubljana and the rest of the country.
Good luck and hope you have a wonderful experience! :)
