Greetings fellow humans, I am trying to plan a trip for my best friend Max (canine) and myself (human). Max is 16+ and our life together has always included 10+ road trips a year. He can no longer sleep in our car, so I am trying to weave a plan that includes affordable accommodations. Below is what I'm currently thinking. Annnd, this is a special journey. Who knows when, where, and what could potentially arise to hold us in this special time.

Timeline: Late September/Early October Location: We live in Western WA & prefer a spit more sun and small bump in temps (thinking E/SE WA). Accommodations: I am imagining a cabin or yurt (something roofed and comfortable for a really old being, but with minimal amentities). Could be a mother-in-law suite. And, could be in a shared house - but we need ability to have alone time. Not to mention, we often go out in the middle of the night and/or super early mornings. I am allergic to cats and Max is too much alpha energy for most large dogs.
