Post w Music, Musicians, Concerts and Festivals Melbourne Style

Hey guys, I'm traveling to Melbourne next week with a view to find work as a DJ in the bars/clubs/cafes etc...

could any of you give me some tips on places to try or just general info you think would be useful?

i prefer to play Afro Disco, Electro-Funk, Old School Hip Hop & Disco... however ive got 15 years of DJing in bars in the UK so got enough experience to play most genres if needed
