I feel let down.. One communication in 12 months

I have been on this site for over 12 months .. In all that time I have had one genuine communication and some weirdo message me.. I am a decent guy but wonder is this site a "crock" Whats wrong .. All suggestions taken on board.. Christopher

You may want to review your profile and how you word things sounds politically incorrect and could offend many people. Ultimately you are saying you will only host people by there sexual preference. That could be why.

Tania seems to have covered it but my quick look says you are listed with heaps of exclusions which will fikter off many searches! Eg. "Maybe Hosting", males preferred, Gay emphasis, no Freinds or references from elsewhere in CS, no mention of your travel background or plans, no mention of what you expect ex CS experience..... I find the site really only works in a pay it forward style and it cannot be forced to provide surfers! May be worth some CS meetups to help you with your promotion.

Thanks Russ, I agree ... I just no that being a gay traveler I have encountered such discrimination that I thought I would host gay travelers.. It has back fired I guess... Cheers Christopher
