Polyamory ?
"Poly" is easy (!). simple to understand, to do, to imagine, easy to put into practice. It is enough to have room in ones heart and bed, and to have time.
"Amory" deserves more thought : what is “love” ?
To be with many ? To be a man with a woman ? A woman with a woman? A man with a man and a woman? A man with women? Women with women? Being a man and having women + woman + woman + man? et cætera ...
But "love". What is it? Is it "good"? Dangerous? A decoy a trap ? Ephemeral ? Imaginary ? Impossible ? A goal ? Painful ? A myth ? An instinct ? A question of libido ? Something which pleases everywhere (even there yes) ? A forbidden fruit ? A neurosis? A delight? An act? A covenant? Something which doesn’t exist ? An pretext to see a shrink? A flash in the night ? a fleeting moment ? (the list is incomplete …bien sûr – we need to throw a french word into this pseudointellectual psychobabble … )
It’s an enigmatic concept, if not inconsistent. It is a complicated affaire after all.
Is “Amory”, from the latin amare, the same as the Greek "érôs" (by golly, we are in the midst of homosexuality) in the sense of being "erotic" or a "philia", physical and emotional love or even a friendship? Love, is this a passion for emotion with an erotic component?
Who do you love? God? Your wife ? Your wives? Your dog? The illusion of freedom? Their breasts? Your pleasure? Your resistance to the desire for another? Your pain? The pleasure of another? Or worse, the pain of another? His own habits? His gesture?
A much longer list is possible, but I don’t want to scare you!
When the game of desire starts to become a game of power (of the other? Over the other?), the escape is made by adding lovers. When pleasure is overshadowed by desire ... but in this case, will this "pleasure" be intense? Study this possibility.
Or…. Polyamory, a versatility of desire, pleasure… dull.
Let’s hurry to be happy and have fun at love in mono or poly (fun!), Because life only thinks about dying………………………………………
