Furnished or unfurnished? Do you need off street parking? Do you want a private bathroom? What exactly are you looking to uhh do while you are there?
I'm moving to LA next month (currently living in Netherlands) and I'm looking for a room to rent for a month or two starting from July 22nd through September 22nd. I can pay in advance! I know about Craigslist and Airbnb but I've had good luck with CS in the past.

I have a furnished room for 1350 dollars...Usually I rent on Airbnb . However I am willing to block dates for people and just take cash because I know Airbnb fees are really high and it makes it easy, Check out my listing and personal message me we can work something out.
I have a large (15.5x15.5 feet) master bedroom with large private ensuite bath fully furnished for $1500, with balcony, it's pretty new and comes with private gated parking, roof top, etc. Close to 3 major supermarkets, many restaurants, Sawtelle Japantown (asian food), Brentwood, and Santa Monica. If you're interested, I can give you pics of the room. I haven't posted pics since I don't typically rent out my room, but here's an idea of a condo that just sold in my building.
