Take SL pass (based on ur day of stay in Stockholm) at airport, take bus and come to Marsta station. Take train to Stockholm central.
I write this to guests: If arriving at Arlanda Airport: don't go with the expensive train or bus. Instead I advice you to get a transportation card for 1, 3 or 7 days and take local bus 583 to Märsta. Why pay when you don't have to pay extra?
Yes there is.. But not at all by much to make the extra effort worth it. You can go the place that sells you the tickets for the local transports (since you can´t pay onboard) .. you get a card that you fill with any amount of your choosing. This card is then used for both train and bus and even ferry in Stockholm. Anyways, you can take the red bus 583 that will take you to the trainstation of Märsta and from there you take the train to Stockholm. Bus takes about 20 minutes and then the train is another 45 minutes. I think the price should be around 70sek.
how do you fill up the card?
how do you fill up the card?
Yes, there are many busses. Check this: https://www.flygbussarna.se/
You are some getting conflicting answers. The correct is that Arlanda Express costs 280 SEK one way (see here: https://www.arlandaexpress.com/priser.aspx ). Hence, it is more expensive than the other options (but much quicker - takes 20 minutes and it leaves every 15 minutes). A good alternative is the Flygbussarna ( https://www.flygbussarna.se/en ). That will only set you back 99 SEK, but the travel time is 50 minutes. You do not need to change trains/busses if you chose either Arlanda Express or Flygbussarna. Those are the best options. However, if cost is the most important parameter then there is another option. It will take you just over 1 hour and will cost you 30 SEK: Take the bus "583" towards "Märsta station" and then change to the train "Pendeltåg 36 mot Södertälje centrum". In order to only pay 30 SEK you need a travel card - see here: http://sl.se/en/fares--tickets/ Welcome to Sweden!
Did you even try to google your question before spamming this forum with a question that has been asked tens of time before?
I write this to guests: If arriving at Arlanda Airport: don't go with the expensive train or bus. Instead I advice you to get a transportation card for 1, 3 or 7 days and take local bus 583 to Märsta. From there you take the commuter train to the city, and don't have to pay anything extra. It would be such a waste of money not to travel in this way.
Flixbus. 3 euros or more depending on which departure.
