Room to Rent in Midland

Hi Midland CSers,

I am currently living in Midland and will be looking for a new place to stay when my lease ends in January. As I will only be here several more months I am hoping to find a short-term lease or a bedroom to rent. If you know of anything or have an empty bedroom you are willing to rent out for a couple of months, please let me know! I am able to provide references, etc. Cheers!

2 Swedish sisters looking for true Texas!

Hello Texas! My name is Maria and I am a exchange student who will be spending this fall semester in Fort Worth. My sister is coming to visit me for a week in November and we really want to make the most of her being here and get a "true Texas experiences!" (Not just big cities and tourists, but meet locals and go on adventures) We are looking for hosts who maybe has a ranch, farm, pers, or just simply lives in a true Texas area! We would LOVE to go horse back riding! All ideas are welcome since we do not have a route yet, all we know is that we want to get in a car and hit the road for some real Texas experiences! Christian homesteading/husbandry/permaculture communities or organizations

I was wondering if some of you have any experience with Christian homesteading/husbandry/permaculture communities or organizations that accept volunteers for a certain period of time (a sort of Christian WWOOFing if you will). I would love to hear your suggestions or experiences!

Pot Luck Supper In AMARILLO, TX 3:00 pm to 11:00

HI Fello CSers, I am hosting a Potuuck dinner for 2 CouchSurfers. Menu is THAI Food No stir fried rice. I will make it here. It's fun. I am hoping my guest has her fiddle to play or someone brings one and any instruments you'd like to play. Arrival starting at 3 pm dinner at 7:15 for those of you driving.
I am not 420 friendly. Just an FYI.

There are 2 airbeds on a 1st come reservered basis avail. in the in the living room as well as floor space

I will be travelling through Texas this August by car. Arriving in a few days, on the 31st of July. No plan, just want to be on the road for some adventure. Want to go to the small towns, meet interesting people, etc.

Give me a shout if I could possibly crash on your couch for a night or two. Just hanging out will be fine as well. I can also give one or two people a ride if needs to.
