eVisa / Letter of Invitation

Hello all, I'm planning to visit in May with a good friend of mine, he is also a CSer. Luckily he is visa free to visit Kazakhstan, however I need to apply for an eVisa. I found out recently that I'd need an invitation number for the eVisa application. Has anyone been through this before with any other CSers or friends visiting? Does anyone know the best way to go about getting one for my application?

Tajikistan - Fann mountains

I am going tomorrow to the Fann mountains. Starting in Shing - doing Seven lakes hikes + other lakes near Artuch (Chuqurak, Kulikalon, Allaudin, bibijonat, Mutnyi, Alo)...ending in Artuch :) If somebody îs going also 😀

Travel from Iran to Kazakhstan by Train/Road

It seems to be a silly question but my curiosity did not let me stop asking. I would like to travel from Iran to Kazakhstan by land (train or bus). I will be transiting Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Is there anyone who can guide whether is it possible?

Car rental in western Kazakhstan

I am planning to come to Kazakhstan during the summer and visit western regions by car - could you suggest car rental companies in one of the cities in the west? I didn't manage to find any car rental except Nur Sultan or Almaty.

Trip around Almaty 15-19th September

Hi everyone,

the two of us want to explore south-east of Kazakhstan, and meet locals in the area. Is anyone interested in joining us for a trip to Altyn Emel, Charyn Canyon, Kolsai and Kaindy Lakes and perhaps Turgen George etc. ? We are looking for other travellers to join us and share a car or perhaps some locals who want to join us for a part of this trip? we're happy to share the costs and see all options.
