O wydarzeniu

Autumn weather is slowly getting colder and it's the right time for everyone starting with cold plunges and eventually become strong polar bear (if you're not one already). 🙂 The sea water temperature is currently around 10 °C, and later it can drop to 1 °C, so we can gradually prepare our bodies for winter conditions (freezing air, snow, low water temperature). Meeting at 16:00 on Linnahall Beach (Linnahalli Rand). Accurate location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/6iX6VhEVdPYxSAQV7 Don’t forget a towel and something to hydrate with after swimming (alcohol is not recommended). Swimwear (or spare underwear) is useful too, unless you prefer to swim naked. 😶 In case you do not want to swim, come anyway! You can just sit by the sea, relax and socialize. Maybe we will have a little walk around the coast, and also, there are pubs and cafes around, so you won't get bored. See you soon! --- 🧊 About cold plunges: Entering cold water activates your body’s natural stress response, improving circulation, boosting immune function, and reducing inflammation through enhanced blood flow and increased leukocyte production. It triggers a powerful release of endorphins and norepinephrine, delivering an immediate mood lift while building long-term mental resilience. Regular practice trains your nervous system to handle stress more effectively, making it a natural reset button for both body and mind. 🔗 Read more: https://health.clevelandclinic.org/what-to-know-about-cold-plunges
