Cold Spring Camp Crash

Hey campers, it's time to head outdoors again for awesome adventures and a great time. Activities include bbq nights, hiking, kayaking, beach volley ball and our very own resident DJ firing up the night. Clarence Fahnestock Campground Info. Parking available at entrance, not too many bays but road shoulder parking is allowed if at capacity. 4 or more porta loo’s on site without showers. Items you need: Sleeping bag, torch, bug spray, reusable cutlery, cup, snacks, warm clothes (can be cold at night), rain gear, (it may rain), towel and toiletries (showers and toilets are available a short drive away, we can car pool in groups to get there), tent (there will be some extra space available to share in some tents but best to inquire beforehand or if you have your own, bring it. Food!! We will supply basic food items for the weekend and will share the cost evenly. Items will include burgers, hotdogs, steak, marinated chicken, vegetables for grilling, bread, eggs, bacon, sauces, cheese, dips, chips, snacks, some drinking water, firewood and more. If you have a certain dietary requirement, please bring your own food. If you wish to share some food or snacks, that will be awesome. We will not supply cutlery as it’s always wasted and we always run out, I repeat BRING YOUR OWN CUTLERY AND CUP!!!!! Some serving utensils will be provided and will not be given away for personal use. Let's work together to achieve our goal of minimizing plastic waste at our event. Tickets vary based on peak ($20) and off peak ($15) times for one way ticket or return ticket peak ($40) off peak ($35). The return ticket is valid for 60 days. The travel time by train is about 1 hour 20 mins from Grand Central Station. Upon arriving at Cold Spring station, inform the group via WhatsApp and we will come get you. Best travel in groups to reduce the frequency of pickups from the station.
