COUCHCRASH KODAIKANAL 2023 CS Coimbatore proudly conducts it's 3rd Couch Crash after CouchCrash Ooty 1.O & 2.O We welcome all the couchsurfing community to join our fun-filled travelers gathering at Kodai and cherish and make memories at its Best. The dates are finalized to be Aug 12-14, 2023. We have Extended party (Aug 14th) at famous Camping spot @ Poombarai (1 Hour Drive from Kodaikanal) What can you Expect? The hillstation offers evergreen tea estates, and magnificent view of mountains and we add more spice to the event with travel stories, games, etc., And also little bit of drizzling rain possible so get ready with your Rain Covers, Etc., REGISTRATION COST @ Rs.2900/- Per Person Day1 (12th Aug): Check-in at the Dorm Cottages starting 12 Noon 1.30PM Lunch 3PM Introduction & Grand Welcome 4PM Evening Walk to Kodai Lake & Bryant Park (900 mtrs from stay) 8-9PM Dinner & Party 11PM Time to Snore (Let's save energy for Tomo) Day2 (13th Aug): 8AM Morning Breakfast 9AM-5PM Van to pick up and explore Full day Local Sightseeing (Locations based on weather & time availability) 2PM Lunch @ Own Expenses 6PM CS Members Performance Time (Let us know if you have specific talents) & Travel Story Telling Time 7PM Camp Fire 8PM Dinner 8.30 PM Music on Floors, It's Party Time 11PM It's time to Snore again Day 3 (14th Aug): 8AM Breakfast 9AM Photo Session & Final Meeting for the event and a Farewell, proceed to Post Party Camping Event towards Poombarai (Not included in the event) *Stay would be arranged at Multi-sharing rooms with Random allocations* EXTENDED PARTY: CAMPING WITH TENTS @ 2400 Per Person(1900 for Camping + 500 for Transport TO & FRO AUG 14th : 11AM Start from kodaikanal to Poombarai (1 hour drive) Check-in: 12:30 PM Onwards *Tents with Lunch, Dinner & Breakfast Included* AUG 15th: 1PM drop back to Kodaikanal PRE-EVENT: We are arranging pre-event for those who are arriving a day earlier (Aug 11th) to kodaikanal @ Home stay accomodation with dinner & breakfast || Cost Rs.500/- per person How to Reach: The Nearest Airport is COIMBATORE-160 KMS or MADURAI-110 KMS or Tiruchirapalli-190 KMS Nearest Railway Station is Dindigul (DG) or Kodai Road (KQN) but very few trains run thru this station. The best option is to travel Coimbatore or Madurai thru train and catch bus to Kodaikanal as there are so frequent buses available.
