Every two weeks a different film, and afterwards we go have a discussion and a drink in a bar nearby. The films are always in English with German subtitles. On the menu this week: Jan-Ole Gerster’s first English-language film, a psychological drama unfolding on the pristine beaches of a Spanish island.. With “Oh Boy” and its lost melancholic protagonist, he made one of the best German films of the 2010s. Let’s see if his new film can live up to it!
