Weekly Dublin CS mingle

The weekly mingle is a place to talk to strangers, make new friends, and discover places in the city. Let's recover the spirit of CS meetings where you had great chats and actually made long-lasting friends. Visitors and locals are all welcome! We have already visited 70 pubs, take a look at the map: https://blog.tincho.org/Mingle/ So, grab something to drink, and mingle the night away! -------- This week we go to a brand new pub in the LIberties area of Dublin 8, The Fourth Corner, situated just metres from St Patrick's Cathedral. It is a modern-looking place (and a bit fancy), with a good selection of taps and cocktails. It is not big, but we got the whole basement area booked for us. According to their own website, "The Four Corners of Hell, a name given to one of the most infamous junctions of Dublin (crossing at Patrick's Street, Kevin Street, Dean Street and New Street), was known as one of the most raucous and rowdy of its day with four pubs, one on each corner, each with its own characters and clientele." But do not panic, nowadays it is a much quieter area, and this pub is a good example of the gentrifying changes the neighbourhood has been experiencing in the past years.
