Weekly Dublin CS mingle

The weekly mingle is a place to talk to strangers, make new friends, and discover places in the city. Let's recover the spirit of CS meetings where you had great chats and actually made long-lasting friends. Visitors and locals are all welcome! The meeting place will be different every week, it will not be listed in Lonely Planet, but it'll always be interesting in its own way! Much was said in the last few weeks about the closure of the Bernard Shaw, an iconic pub which also served as a venue for concerts, art exhibitions, and generally a vibrant hub in the Southside. No amount of complaining and bargaining was able to stop the closure (and soon demolition) of the place to build more hotels. But there are good news: the owners have decided to open a new pub trying to keep the spirit of this emblematic Dublin watering hole. After some false starts, the re-opened the Bernard Shaw where until very recently was the Porterhouse North, at the edge of Phibsboro, in the Cross Guns Bridge. So, let's see if they managed to keep up their promises and whether it is still one of the best places for a night out in Dublin! We have a reservation downstairs on Natalia's name.
