I HOST TRAVELERS: * I don't host people who come partying to Bilbao, people who are attending some kind of event in Bilbao... * My house has rules, read them with time, because I don't want to feel uncomfortable at my place just because you didn't want to read and accept them. * I prefer personalized requests, letting me know why you want to meet me, but I allow copy-paste messages if you are a long-term traveler. * We can host people for 2 days. 1 isn't enough to get to know each other, 3 could be too much... After being travelling 3 years on my motorbike through Africa and South America, where in the last month's of my trip I met my my actual wife in Perú by CouchSurfing, we decided to come back to Bilbao and create a CouchSurfing Family, so here we are. Now we are almost 5 years old baby plus two of us in a small apartment, but you are very welcome to our home anyway. I don´t like people who deliberately manipulate their own image pretending to be different, for instance, truly open minded, just to get what they want. I love people who show their real personality, their preferences, likes and dislikes very clearly, but without being rude. I like people who are TRULY open minded, not shy, not prudish, not puritan, not conventional..... This is VERY IMPORTANT to me. Everybody says they are "open minded" in the CS profiles, because it seems politically correct, but many of them, are not like that, or don´t know what it means. Some of them, even pretend to be very open minded in their profiles, but when I meet them, their behaviour demostrate they are not open minded at all, showing clearly that they have prejudices and they are not comprehensive or tolerant at all. In general, I like sincere and natural but educated and cultured people, with university or professional degrees, who are cosmopolitan, and citizens of the world, can speak several languages and have traveled a lot around the world, knowing many countries and different cultures. Interesting people who can teach me a lot and who I can learn a lot from them. PHILOSOPHY I work to live; I don't live to work. I try to be happy and to share this happiness with my friends and relatives. I believe in freedom, participatory democracy, progressive ideas, and individual rights. Naturism represents most of those ideas and beliefs. Refering to naturism & nudism, many scientific studies have provided a lot of evidences which show many benefits of that practice, including increased self-esteem, better body image, lowered prejudice towards others, elimination of social barriers, a deeper connection with nature, etc. Naturists, in general, are happier people because they are free from fear and shame. Naturism brings people together. Ahhh, this is very important; please, dont get confused!, naturism/nudism is nothing to do with sex, is just a philosophy and a way undersatanding human life, like something more conected with the nature and the environment. Naturism is a way of life, a life philosophy that has nothing to do with sex or with the appearance of your body. Naked is natural. Clothing is artificial. When you free your body, you free your mind. Naturism is very healthy way of life and its important to me, but of course not essencial, there are much more in the couchsurfing philosophy that becomes, the couchsurfing sharing experience, on something marvellous.
