My mission in life is to make our beautiful world a little bit a better place to live in. My Philosophy in life is going by the 4 initials R.NV.J all leading to Love. As for me, after studying Architecture for sooooo long it is a big part of my life. I plan and design (mainly the interiors of apartments). I teach in a couple of schools. Sometimes it's fun and sometimes stressful. Being responsible for my student's success and their professional life is a big mission. I love photography, lately, the camera I use the most is the one on my iPhone and the Canon D5 is lying in the closet. I love cooking ... and eating :-) I love good people, admire passionate activists and envy genuine dreamers! Since 2015 connected to a small school in Nepal as a big brother with tons of love.
ABOUT ME I am originally from a small village in the north of Israel close to the border with Lebanon. Therefore it is very beautiful yet there is nothing to do here- hence the traveling around the world :) things board me really quickly that's why I manage to do a lot in a little time, in the past 2 years I've been working as a salesman, carpenter, computer technician, factory worker, apple picker, educator, a waiter, and an entertainer as a G.O. in club med. I'm Currently studding Industrial Engineering and Management. Going on my fourth year. I connect really fast to new people, love to laugh, eat, explore, and be dramatic. In high school I learned Theater and Biology. I am very easy going and can change myself to your behavior- either calm or noisy, busy or not, smoking or nonsmoking, don't have problems with mess but I myself am really tidy. PHILOSOPHY Ecclesiastes book from the Bible basically sums a lot of things for me. Live and let live. We are all humans living on the same earth- lets give more respect to ourselves, others, and the land we live on. Religion doesn't talk to me and a lot of time separates between people.
I'm Hila I was born and raised in Israel and live here nowadays. For 3 years I lived as a nomad/ digital nomad my house was my backpack :) Life can give us lots of gifts, we just need to learn how to see them. Couchsurfing is a natural gift. and I feel gifted with the beautiful people I met here. It is a bridge between people. That's it is all about. Open your heart to give, and feel how much you receive. In the last years, I changed my lifestyle, my political career, beliefs, and philosophy of life and I keep exploring and learning. I'm walking in the field of Yoga, Buddhism, Ayurveda, teaching online and dancing between Nomad life to digital Nomad life. I speak fluent Spanish and love Latin America music and dance. Born in the states, moved to Israel and lived most of my life in a beautiful valley called Emek Izrael (east from Haifa). Later in my life, I moved to Haifa for almost two years and there opened my house to couchsurfers for the first time! After a Journey in south and north America and southeast Asia, I settled down and studied Eco-therapy (aka Nature therapy) in a holistic-therapy college in Israel. later on, I decided to take my therapist training to the next level, and in one year I will be finishing my masters in psychology. I love playing music with people as it's a huge part of my life! Also, I love capoeira and dancing :)
