I'm continuing my part-time traveling life with my wife. We live in Bolu, Turkey. I'm a mechanical engineer, and my wife, İpek, is an academic. We love exploring different cultures and traveling. We share a passion for music and playing ethnic instruments. My wife, İpek, is trying to learn Chinese. We love cooking; our kitchen is practically a herbalist's shop. We're very interested in conspiracy theories, especially UFOs.
I am a lecturer at university in Turkey. I have graduated economics and then post graduated accounting. Interest with money just theorically :). Love travelling and meet new people.

👋 Hi! I'm Enes, a 27-year-old Software developer from Bolu, Türkiye. A few weeks ago I joined a two-week Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project in Poland about mindfulness and stress management. I went there thinking the best part would be seeing a new country, but I was wrong. What stayed with me was the time spent with people from different cultures, the conversations, and the feeling of sharing a small piece of life together. 🌍 A New Perspective Since then, I've realized I don't want to spend all my weekends at home anymore. I've lived in Bolu for 27 years, and now I want to start exploring, one city, one conversation, and one experience at a time. Right now, that means discovering more of Türkiye on weekends, but I also hope to explore many other countries whenever I get the chance. 🌱 Stepping Outside My Comfort Zone Over the past few years, I've been stepping outside my comfort zone. I started learning guitar, learned how to swim as an adult, took my first solo trips, and even traveled abroad alone through Erasmus+. Every new experience has made me more confident and excited to keep discovering new places and meeting new people. ☕ A Little About Me I work remotely, enjoy technology, tea (sorry coffee lover🥲), cycling, hiking, swimming, and meaningful conversations. I'm respectful, tidy, easygoing, and always happy to share a meal, a walk, or a good story. ✨ I believe the best memories come from the people you meet, not just the places you visit. Maybe this is just the beginning of a much bigger journey.

Pleasant conversation with the person, not my house, my heart is always open. We are a family of four people. It is difficult and costly to travel the world. Thus we decided to allow the world come and visit us. If you plan a trip to Bolu, you are most welcome. We will be happy if you intend to share your culture, thoughts, beliefs etc. with us and leave becoming good friends. There are some simple issues you should know before coming: - We usually host people for 1-2 nights. - No smoking inside the house - Shoes off before entering the flat (cultural isuues; sorry). - We prefer that people don't step outside the flat without shoes. - Some guests coming from long distance may need washing their clothes (especially socks). You are welcome to use our washing maschine or other facilities. - We will be happy if you help in the kitchen or keeping the house clean and in order. - You can use the kitchen as one of the family members. You are welcome if you want to teach us cooking something from your culture. - We don't eat pork products and also don't drink alcohol. - If you like riding the bike you can use ours if the weather is suitable. - As mentioned above, we intend cultural exchange. We feel bad if people use us as a substitute to a hotel.. - Please read our profile before writing to us. We prefer to start your letter with "Hi beautiful people in the beautiful city." to check you have read this message ;) - We love hosting all kind of people.
Hey! I'm Nihle, a 20-year-old girl from Turkey. I'm majoring in English teaching, currently in my third year of college, and I love it so far. I'm passionate about languages and enjoy helping others learn. In July 2024, I started travelling as a solo female traveller. So far, I've visited Budapest, Venice, Milan, and Sofia. I stayed in hostels during my trips, which was nice, but I didn't get a chance to truly experience the local culture. That's why I decided to give couchsurfing a try. I'm an easygoing and clean person who respects different ways of thinking, living, and loving. I enjoy meaningful conversations and learning about people's life stories. I'm also a foodie who loves trying new dishes and cooking. Traveling has shown me the value of being open-minded and understanding. I’m excited to keep exploring new places and meeting new people through couchsurfing. I'm looking forward to not just seeing new places, but also connecting with locals and experiencing life from their perspective.
