I'm Koji. I teach mathematics at a junior high school. I have an open mind and love interacting with new people and learning different things ,cultures and having new experiences. I have traveled to many countries. Rather than just sightseeing, I love experiencing things like the locals do, such as walking in nature, the countryside, residential areas, and markets, traveling by motorbike, and eating at food stalls. I live alone in my house. There is a small private room for guests. You can lock the door from the inside. There are two beds and a small desk.Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are available. There is a toilet for you. The bathroom is shared. You can lock the door from the inside. You can smoke on the terrace or outside. I will make an effort to keep the room clean, but please understand that it is not a hotel. I go to work between 7am and 6pm on weekdays, but you can be at my house. In the evening, we can go out to eat together or cook together at my house. Although I'm not a good cook, I think it would be fun to cook and eat simple Japanese food together. On the weekend, I might be able to spend the day with you. I'm not very good at English. I especially can't understand fast English. Speak slowly and in simple words, as you were speaking to a child. I have two cats. They don't go to the private rooms.
−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−− ▼English Hello! We are a married couple from Japan. We left Japan in July 2023 and have been traveling around the world since then. After traveling for one year and two months, we returned to Japan for a while, but we resumed our journey in May 2025. The purpose of our travels is to meet people from all over the world and to experience and learn about different cultures and local cuisine. We hope to use these experiences to open our own restaurant when we return to Japan in the future. We studied at a Spanish language school in Guatemala for one month, but we still cannot speak Spanish or English very well, so we appreciate your understanding. We both have calm personalities, but we also have a cheerful side and love to laugh when something fun happens. When we lived in Japan, I worked at an antique furniture store, and my wife worked in the production and sales of sweets. After that, we helped with my wife's father's farming work. We love nature, especially the sea and the mountains. During this trip, we have been relaxing on beautiful beaches and enjoying trekking. We also enjoy playing board games. We would love to make friends all over the world! What we look forward to most is connecting with people and experiencing different cultures. We hope to have a wonderful encounter with you. Thank you for reading.

Hey, I’m AK, professional visual artist, now making films in Tokyo. I spent years backpacking across Southeast Asia and Europe, doing a lot of Couchsurfing and volunteering along the way. After all the great experiences I’ve had as a guest, it’s my turn to host and meet new people here in Tokyo. I’m easygoing, respectful, and enjoy good conversations. I like connecting with people who are open-minded and have stories to share — whether that’s over food, exploring the city, or just chilling at home. I have some instruments at home so let’s jam together if you can:) Follow my work and travels on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/akdawn.art?igsh=MXYxbjJwbXkzbmtweA%3D%3D&utm_source=qr
I’m from Japan. I live in Taiwan. I’m into traveling! I’d like to make friends from all over the world!
Hi, I've been hosting more than 100 travelers through varisous platforms. The longest I've hosted was 3 months. I receives a lot of messages so I hope you understand that I can't reply all of them. I only reply to people that I can actually host. That's why my reply rates are low. I have long working hours and it would be great if you could help on house chores and taking care of my pets. I'm not quite sure about my schedule so I normally host those who can come within a month. 99% of my experience was great but I had a terrible experience at the beginning of the year. After that, I start to host only those with references. My place is not like a hotel. Unfortunately, the room doesn't have AC. So I don't normally host during summer and winter when it's quite hot and cold. However, you will be able to have relaxing time with my fluffy buddies. If you've read my profile, please add "Hakuna Matata" in the head of your message. Thank you and please feel free to drop me a message.
