I have done many things in my life. I studied maths, traveled parts of Europe as a busker and taught music for many years. I studied IT a few years back. I lived in a construction caravan for a few years. At the moment I am trying to reconquer my life after Covid and learn to play the harp. I like to travel but have not done so for many years now due to family restrictions. Just starting to rediscover. I like philosopical talk and to look at things from different points of view. I believe the best way to look at myself is by laughing. I don't take myself too serious and I like to take things with a good portion of humour.

A father of 2, politically active in climate justice Movement and in my full-time payed job working as a DataScientist. I'm mostly here to search for accommodations elsewhere - yet still missing the experience of being a host. Maybe in the future!

I am from India. I try to avoid crowded places as i feel anxiety around lot of people and when i meet new people (working on it). I do love talking about various topics. Crazy for card and board games. I like to take walks, watch movies, tv series, read books or whatever I feel like. I think i missed out on lot of activities and now i will try to do and learn as much as possible from these travel opportunities. update 2017: just finished my volunteership in a farm in a Norwegian village. update 2019: Now i am living in Germany and have started my Masters here. I want to improve my German and also learn/educate myself about the culture. Update 2023: now finished my studies, working full time here in Bonn. Still struggling with German though :D. Also, Now i have my own apartment so i can start hosting people around the World.

I am 23 years old, come from Peru and live and study in Bonn, Germany. I like travelling, meeting new people and listening to music :) I will be moving to Spain for a Semester and will be travelling with the train, so I will need somewhere to stay on the way 🫶

- update 2025 - we are back in Germany, not travelling currently, so we are happy to host To the far side of the world Drifting, strolling, soaring and straying... Currently we're traveling in the USA Unfortunately we can't host you while we are traveling ourselves! But maybe we can find you a place to stay with our friends and families in Germany. So don't hesitate to write us a request! It might have been foolish and a little bit daring to leave Germany in 2020, during covid, to travel by hitchhiking around the world and be hosted by strangers. But it has been amazing and still is amazing three years later. We are aware of how lucky we were and are to be able to travel still. Thank you so much everyone for your hospitality! We go with the wind, like nomads and pirates. We never fly. We stick to the ground, via land or water. Joschka is a carpenter and unionist. Loves being outside - cycling, hiking, climbing, cliffs, rocks and trees, exploring caves, fortresses, temples, abandoned buildings, lost places... He cares about the fight against racism, and for fair salaries and about protecting the environment. His favourite answer to everything is: "Solidarity!" He likes to talk a lot and make jokes. Emmie studied book illustration and helped kids to write and illustrate their own novels. She has one illustrated novel with 572 pages in her shelf and together with Joschka she designed books, leaflets, magazines, stickers and postcards contributed to the protection of the environment. She loves dancing, film making and theatre and all sorts of handcrafting. We are vegetarians.
