I am a artist recently living in the great city of Lisbon. I was living in the U.K. before moving here. In the U.K. I started a few art projects in leicester called art for change. I live creativity and sharing, deep conversations and getting to know you. We have so much to offer through sharing and breaking down the walls we have been conditioned to live in. Travel has shaped most of my life. I’ve stayed with locals, volunteered, worked in kitchens, spent time in hostels, got stranded in unexpected places and collected more stories than I can remember. I also worked at Turkey’s only Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant and once won €25,000 on a quiz show, which mostly turned into more travel. I enjoy long conversations, local food, history, photography, walking around without a plan and learning how people actually live in a place rather than just seeing the highlights. I’m here for genuine cultural exchange, interesting people and good stories. If you’re curious, open-minded and respectful, we’ll probably get along.
Soy Ale; Soy de Uruguay, nacido en la ciudad de Salto (al noroeste del país) en donde viví hasta los 18 años. Posteriormente, me mudé a Montevideo, en donde viví 18 años más. Luego me convertí en nómade y estuve viajando hasta establecerme en Lisboa. Soy Analista en Computación. Trabajo en IT como desarrollador. Pese a esto, no me paso todo el día metido en la PC, disfruto mucho del aire libre. Crecí en el campo en donde ayudaba a mi padre con labores rurales durante mis vacaciones antes de comenzar a estudiar y mudarme a la ciudad capital. ¡Me gusta mucho la música! Estoy integrando una comparsa de candombe Uruguayo en Portugal que se llama La Caterva. Disfruto mucho viajar y estoy ansioso por conocer nuevos rincones del mundo.
