**Currently bikepacking throughout Scotland** I am a nurse, working in my home town of Thunder Bay! My passions are my dogs, and almost every outdoor sport there is. I love to combine these with travel and seeing new places! I have accepted plenty of help and roofs over my head over the years while travelling, and I look forward to returning the favour to others. Happy travels!
CURRENT MISSION To share great experiences and network with people through this awesome community ABOUT ME ***FYI: I AM NOT IN THUNDER BAY BUT IN Red Rock 1hr east of Thunder Bay. I will be traveling in French Polynesia until early June so I am unable to host or meet up until after then*** My girlfriend Jean and I recently bought a 5 bedroom house in the cute little town of Red Rock Ontario. We are still in the process of getting it set up and often we are away for work but if you catch us while we are around we will make our best efforts to host you. I've been very fortunate to have done lots of traveling and working in some really unique and wild places around the world over the past 20 or so years. In January 2016 I moved back to Northwestern Ontario with interest to set some roots. I now have my own adventure business in NW Ontario 'Such A Nice Day Adventures' http://suchaniceday.com/ specializing in paddling adventures along the Canadian North Shore of Lake Superior. Each winter(when possible) I have worked and travelled internationally. The past few seasons I have worked on a small cruise ships as a kayak guide/ zodiac driver traveling to Antarctica. I love to learn as much as i can about where i travel, the people i meet, and i places i live. I think it is important to develop a connection to everything around you. To find out more about me and some of my adventures please check out my blog at: http://zackkruzins.com/ It is a little out of date but I have more about some of my major expeditions and travels. I do manage to keep most of my photos up to date and you can check them out here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/zackkruzins/sets/. PHILOSOPHY I believe in Karma, be good to people and people will be good to you.
Hey! Things have changed a bit since we first started hosting. We now have a house full of dogs and not much space (6 Labradoodles (poodle / Labrador retriever mix). If you are cool with that, please by all means be in touch. Sometimes I can host in Nipigon where I stay for work one night per week and there are no animals there. Looking forward to hearing from you! CURRENT MISSION New people you meet can enrich your life and bring new perspectives. Mission is to meet people whom I never would have a chance to meet otherwise! ABOUT ME Optimist, positive outlook, I enjoy learning and speaking languages. Will never refuse an offer to go out for a run, bike, ski or gym! PHILOSOPHY Life is an adventure!
CURRENT MISSION I want to meet more professionals and people with a specific hobby. I love skill and talent ABOUT ME I was a huge user of couchsurfing back in the early 2000s, in Canada and South Korea I was close friends with then-ambassadors of the cities of Thunder Bay and Seoul. Using either this profile or the profile of housemates, I was a host of many people in Lyon, France in 2011-2012 and Brisbane, Australia in 2015-2016. 2021-2026 I own a house in my hometown of Thunder Bay Ontario and spent the last 5 years working nonstop and renovating it. I am beginning to be able to host however I am still quite busy these days. 2017-2021 I worked seasonally in forestry in British Columbia, Canada as a tree planter and firefighter. I lived out of my SUV, a life on the road. If you are young and athletic and coming to canada on a working holiday visa, talk to me about getting a job and living out of a tent and going on an adventure in the canadian wilderness. The only travels I have done in the past 5 years otherwise is to see family, a trip to Mexico, a trip to Spain, high on my bucket list is Peru. 2016: Tasmania, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, Ladakh, Nepal, London, Scotland, Canada! 2015: Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, then began a working holiday visa in Australia. 2013-2014 I was a teacher in S Korea, lived 3 months in India, 3 months in Japan, also saw Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia. 2011-2012 I was an exchange student in Lyon, France. I didn't go to school much, I crossed the continent, from Morocco to Russia. I prefer spending time on different projects instead of having an overarching life trajectory. I balance my extroversion with hobbies requiring a lot of alone time. I used to enjoy improvising on any instrument but I'm rusty now. I enjoy painting and have plans to dedicate myself to it so long as the world doesn't end. I have a degree in Philosophy. My current favorite academic subjects are data mining, statistics and probability, chaos and game theory, complex systems, and linguistics. I love food and like to cook. I love a good documentary film. I speak french fluently and korean uncomfortably.

Warm & Friendly Hi! I’m Fathima 👋 I’m a curious, easygoing person who loves meeting new people, exploring new places, trying different foods, and learning about different cultures. I enjoy meaningful conversations, spontaneous adventures, and making good memories along the way. I’m currently based in Canada and love traveling whenever I get the chance. I’m respectful, clean, and considerate of other people’s space, and I always enjoy sharing stories, experiences, and a good laugh. Looking forward to meeting interesting people from around the world and making some great memories! 🌍✨
CURRENT MISSION to boldly explore where I've never been before ABOUT ME I love traveling and learning about different cultures. I am always willing to try something new. i love meeting new people, seeing new places and trying new foods. I'm very outdoorsy, I play a lot of sports (mainly wrestling and soccer), but i also enjoy reading and board games. I'm very social and easy going. I'm definitely up for anything. PHILOSOPHY tough times don't last but tough people do. -*sarcasm disclaimer* my friends are very sarcastic and I did not light their belongings on fire as per a review
I'm a single dude, living life the way I want to (within my means). I built a bigger house than I can afford and want to share the space to make life easier for others while I find the right person to rent to.
I'm a free thinker, love sharing ideas and viewpoints of everything under the sun in a non-judgemental manner. I have a visual limitation which makes every step of my life an unplanned adventure, LOL. I love laughter, see the world with wonderment, am introspective yet extroverted.
CURRENT MISSION My current mission is to explore, experience and begin to understand all the diverse people and places this world has to offer ABOUT ME where to start... well first of all I consider myself a Canadian brat. As i kid i constantly moved around Canada and was able to experience what my own country had to offer. Now that I'm a little older the same curiosity I had as a kid is now taking me around the world. I have recently finished 2 years of school out in Vancouver in a program called Global Stewardship, which essientailly prepares you to work in the non-profit sector. Besides my coast to coast Canadian travels, I've done some traveling/volunteering in Asia and Africa. I am currently living back on the west coast and settling into a new place PHILOSOPHY I think life is an adventure to be lived and traveling is something that not only makes me feel alive, but is something that can create positive change not only in my life but the lives of others.
Brak opisu, pewnie gdzieś odkrywa świat
Hey there! I’m Cody, a photographer with a soft spot for live music, good food, and a cold beer to kick off any adventure. When I land in a new city, you’ll usually find me wandering toward a local pub first, then chasing down live music, hidden food spots, and genuine conversations with people who call that place home. Back in Thunder Bay, I’m proud to call this little slice of Northern Ontario home. If you're looking to explore the city, I can give you some great tips or even show you around. When I’m not behind a camera at a concert or community event, I’m usually in the yard, tinkering in the garden, or plotting my next trip. My current dream? To one day turn my passion for food and travel photography into something bigger. Until then, I’m here for the connections, the stories, and the memories made along the way.
