I've had to opportunity to see some countries, and I've definitely caught the traveler's bug so I'm looking to do a whole lot more! While at home in Canada I love exploring the outdoors by camping, hiking, canoeing, pretty much anything in the wilderness. Generally speaking, the best memories I have of places I've visited are those when I'm able to go beyond the stuff you read about in the travel books, and that often involves getting an insider's perspective and having some interesting conversations as well.
