CURRENT MISSION See as many countries as possible before I die ABOUT ME After years of working at jobs that paid the bills but brought no joy, I walked away from corporate life to pursue the only things I’d ever wanted to do: writing, photography, and travel. In 2007 I backpacked around the world solo for six months. Since returning, I have continued to travel extensively and write about experiences on my blog, http://holeinthedonut.com, while simultaneously pursuing a new career as a freelance travel writer. Although not opposed to visiting the most popular tourist destinations, my specialty is discovering off-the-beaten-path, little-known places of great beauty that restore my spirit and always try to interact with locals wherever I go. PHILOSOPHY I believe we create our own reality through our thoughts and intentions. The most important things in life are friends, family, and loved ones. I try to practice unconditional acceptance, non-judgment, and to be the best person I can be. I am grateful for every day I can pursue my passions of writing, travel, and photography.
