CURRENT MISSION Covid changed my plans and instead of exploring Australia, I am back home, based in Prague now, working. Still dreaming about travelling the world though. ABOUT ME Hey, my name is Domi and I love travelling. There is no better way to discover new places and to meet interesting and inspiring people! Ever since I read On the road by Jack Kerouac I knew I wanted to be a traveler when I grow up. I am also a food lover, an art admirer, movies and music fan, sports enthusiast, a bookworm and a tattoo addict. Fun facts: I organize a food charity event called Restaurant Day twice a year in my hometown My favourite writer is Stephen King and I think Quentin Tarantino is a genius I drove a scooter through Vietnam for 6 weeks and I survived! My celebrity crush is Jake Gyllenhaal PHILOSOPHY Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game (I even have this tattoeed on my arm)

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING When I can't host, I am always down for a coffee or a beer (I am Czech, after all ;) I can show you around if I am free and give you some tips on what to visit in Czech Republic, especially in Prague. I also try to participate in the weekly CS meeting where one always meets cool new people! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have been a CS member for more than 10 years now and I think it´s an amazing way how to travel, not just because it saves you some money (admit it, most of us travel on a budget) but for me it´s mainly a great means how to meet local people and how to get to know a new city or a new country. Every person I meet through CS inspires me in his/her own unique way!

MOVIES: Pulp fiction, Prisoners, The Shawshank redemption, Sin city, Inception, Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid, Whiplash, Jackie Brown, Boys, oh and I love Mad men, True Detective and The Wire! MUSIC: Punk rock/ pop punk..hipster indie haha. Still can't decide if my most favourite band is Anberlin or Taking back Sunday BOOKS: All from Stephen King (I am a massive fan!), Jack Kerouac- On the road, John Irving: World according to Garp and Prayer for Owen Meany, Charles Bukowski, Mario Puzo- The godfather, books from Jo Nesbo, Chuck Palahniuk....
